Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently deliver packages, parcels, and other items to customers within the designated service area.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and tracking delivery status.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring that items are properly secured and organized.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and the timely delivery of goods.
Issue Reporting: Communicate any delivery issues or concerns to the appropriate team members promptly.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Driving License: A valid driving license is required; a clean driving record is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or delivery role is an advantage.
Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area, including knowledge of traffic patterns and routes.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
